Every time you send or receive cryptocurrency, the transaction is recorded on the blockchain โ a public, permanent ledger anyone can read. Blockchain explorers are the tools that let you read that ledger.
A blockchain explorer is a website that lets you search any transaction, wallet address, or block on a given blockchain. For Ethereum, the main explorer is Etherscan (etherscan.io). For BNB Chain, it's BscScan (bscscan.com). For Solana, use Solscan.
Every transaction has a unique identifier called a transaction hash (or TXID) โ a long string of letters and numbers. Copy this from your wallet app and paste it into the search bar of the relevant blockchain explorer.
You'll see one of three statuses: Success (transaction confirmed), Pending (waiting to be picked up by miners or validators), or Failed (transaction did not go through, usually due to insufficient gas). If it's pending for a long time, the gas fee was likely too low.
